Neuropsychological Evaluations

Neuropsychology is the study of brain-behavior relationships. Through a process that involves gathering historical information, interviews with important persons, direct testing of abilities and consideration of emotional and behavioral adjustment, the neuropsychologist attempts to identify whether some form of brain dysfunction exists. Careful measurement of brain functions can assist patient and their healthcare team to understand how a brain disorder might be the affecting an individual's thinking, mood and behavior; and often can lead to specific recommendations for treatment.
